NORFORK LAKE FISHING AND HUNTING

Norfork Lake Fishing

Norfork Lake fishing is a must for the avid angler!  With over 42 miles of shoreline, there’s plenty of fish to be caught in here – large and smallmouth bass, walleye, hybrid bass, crappie, catfish, and bluegill to keep the kids entertained!  Don’t forget to bring your string and net – that monster striper bass or mass of crappie are ready to be lured! And for the ultimate experience, consider a guided trip with Reel Fish Guide Service or STR Outfitters.  Or head on over to participate in any number of fishing tournaments held each year.  If you enjoy a different approach to fishing, the water is so clean and clear that spearfishing is also an option.

Norfork Lake dams up to the White River and we are just 20 miles to Trout Capital, USA in Cotter, AR!  Enjoy the best of both lake and river fishing, when you come to the Wagon Wheel to “unreel”.

Wagon Wheel Resort is conveniently located 1/4 mile to 101 Marina for boat rentals, stall rentals, gas, and launching, as well as 1/4 mile to 101 Grocery and Bait.  We’re also within a few miles to Panther Bay MarinaFout Boat Dock, and Lake Norfork Marina. Guests can also fish off our dock and use our cleaning station upon returning.  Fun Fact:  Did you know the Mountain Home, AR surrounding area is home to about a dozen big-name boat, trailer, tackle, and rod manufacturers?  We’re virtually the fishing mecca of the U. S.!  You can even go on a plant tour!
